110% Capacity Requirement
Secondary containment must hold a minimum of 110% of the volume of the largest single container — enough to capture a catastrophic tank failure during a storm event.
Material Compatibility
Liners and berms must be chemically compatible with stored hydrocarbons and rated for Alberta's extreme temperature range. LLDPE and HDPE are the accepted industry standards.
Documentation Protocols

Steel Wall Containment Systems
Zero ground disturbance secondary containment walls using 16-gauge corrugated steel panels with engineered bolt assembly. Available in 22″, 33″, 45″, and 55″ wall heights. Custom sized to any tank configuration.
LLDPE Liner Systems
Shop-prefabricated LLDPE geomembrane liners delivered ready to install — no on-site panel welding required. Flexible, hydrocarbon-resistant, and field-tested at every seam. HDPE available for aggressive chemical exposure.
Certified Installation
Every TCA crew includes a certified welder and crew foreman. We handle delivery, assembly, liner deployment, extrusion welding, seam pressure-testing, and site cleanup. As-built documentation provided at handoff.

Geotextile Fabric Systems

AER Directive 055 governs storage requirements for the upstream petroleum industry in Alberta. What's the difference between LLDPE and HDPE liners for oilfield use?
